Hope you're all well and enjoying the rainy weather (not!).
So, I'm sure you've gathered by the title - todays blog is about my HOLY GRAIL oily skin saviour. Lets face it, you can do as much as you like to prep the skin, set your makeup and "powder your nose" over & over, but if you have oily skin (especially the T-Zone) then the oil WILL WIN! Therefore, I was on the hunt for ages to find a product that's compact, easy and quick to apply - low and behold - I FOUND IT.
The Benefit - Porefessional "license to blot". This is just a God send to me. Its always in my hand bag and I could not live without it.
As you can see below, this is a solid balm which is the most convenient handbag essential for those with oily skin. This instantly creates matte skin and as its part of the Porefessional line, it also blur's the appearance of large pores.
Its presented in a retractable tube which means you don't need to pack a sponge or a brush to apply this - you can literally use it "on the go" (which is the aim of this product). Its moulded in a triangle shape (see below) which allows you to easily apply the balm to the tricky facial contours of the face (mainly the around the nose/mouth area, forehead etc.). It glides on so easily, but I do have to use my fingers to just pat the product down and ensure any excess product isn't visible on my skin.
The product is transparent so its suitable for all skin types. Its an amazing product to help erase shine throughout the day. It's definitely not a substitute for matte primers, matte powders and setting sprays, however its a great little product to eradicate shine throughout the day. At £15.50 you get a good quality product which does what it says on the tin. If you're not one to keep topping up your powder/set your makeup etc. this is a great, affordable alternative to be used on the go. Try it out! :)
