I'm back! This time - I promise its for good! :) Today's blog is about my current Autumnal go to's (duh) - I know almost everyone loves the autumnal beauty transition - out with the bright summer colours and in with the deep toned autumn shades.
I've got quite a few new products that I have been reaching for, for the last couple of months and I thought I would give you a brief review of them all...
1. Argan 5+ Precious Oil Elixir
To begin with, the Argan 5+ Elixir has literally been a God send for my skin! As summer faded away and autumn kicked in - my skin started to break out and obviously, being a beauty blogger I was on the hunt for an oil to apply before makeup, rather than just your standard night oil. This oil targets skin ageing, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, dry & dehydrated skin.
I use a pea sized amount before applying my makeup (and no, it doesn't make you look shiny or more oily) in fact, it does the opposite - the oil balances out the areas on your skin which need hydration. It leaves your skin feeling SUPER soft and moisturised.
It also works as a primer - you just need to massage a small amount into your face or add a couple of drops to your moisturiser.
The reason I didn't go for any other brand or 100% pure Argan oil is because of the benefits of the other oils in this elixir. It has Argan oil, Baobab Oil, Kukui Seed oil, Moringa oil and Sacha Inci oil (which I will leave you to research about, as I don't want to bore you all away) - but trust me, its one of the BEST facial oils I have come across.
2. MAC Face & Body Foundation
Second, is the MAC face and body foundation. I won't go on about this too much as I know how much people have raved about this - but on a daily basis I like wearing a super light foundation which gives me that "no make up look" yet covers my blemishes and evens out my skin tone.
To be honest, when I first bought this foundation - I wasn't overly happy with it, however - I have actually grown to love it. The watery formulation takes getting used to - but I like to use it with my moisturiser (its almost like making my own BB cream). Its extremely lightweight and gives you a dewy finish. I know most people prefer lightweight foundation during the summer - however, I like the light weight finish on a daily basis (and more coverage on the weekends/evenings).
3. KIKO Contour Stick - Medium (02)
Next we have the KIKO contour stick (in the shade Medium (02)) - this actually comes in a set, with a highlighter - but I haven't been reaching for that much (due to being in LOVE with the mary lou manizer). The contour stick however, is AMAZING.
This stick is matte in finish and has a lovely warm finish. It makes contouring SO easy - you literally just swipe the stick in the hollows of your face and blend. You don't even need a synthetic brush to blend it out! Basically, if you're looking for a creamy and effortless contour stick - what are you waiting for?! Go and grab this!
4. Milani Baked Blusher (Rose D'Oro)
I purchased this at the Olympia Beauty Exhibition and I cannot stop using it. I already have endless amounts of baked blushers and during the autumn/winter time they're all I reach for - but recently, I feel like no blusher beats this beauty.
This is a Peach blush which has a copper-ish tinge to it - its a very warm peach (so its suitable all year round) and it has golden reflexes which looks AMAZING on a matte base - its almost like wearing a bronzer, blush and highlighter all in one. If you swatch this - you will instantly see the colour pay off and be in awe. The pigmentation is like no other that I have ever come across. I love the healthy glow it gives you and a little really does go a long way with this blush.
5. NYX Matte Liquid Liner (Black)
As you can see by the image (above) the nib is quite fine so its easy to create a winged line. I know Maybelline has also released a matte liner (maybe a good alternative as NYX is quite hard to get hold of) so give that a go!
(P.S. It won't be hard to get hold of soon - NYX IS COMING TO BOOTS!! Can you tell how excited I am?!)
6 & 7. Zoeva Cocoa Blends Palette & NYX Prismatic Shadow (Fireball)
Zoeva Palette (Cocoa Blends):
You all know (or should know) - I am such a sucker for warm neutrals - I have been LOVING this palette for ages - the shades "freshly toasted" and "warm notes" are to die for. This is literally the PERFECT palette for autumn! Its super pigmented AND super affordable!
NYX Prismatic Shadow (Fireball)
This shadow is BEYOND pigmented - you literally need to SWIPE your brush over it. It's a metallic red shade which makes for a fiery transition shade or a bold eye. I am definitely planning on collecting all the shades - I can't get enough of it! The consistency is so buttery and it DOESNT CREASE! What more do you want?!?!
8 & 9. Max Factor Lipstick (Rosewood) and Max Factor Elixir Lip Liner (Mauve Moment)

When I saw these two in Boots - I didn't even think twice. I grabbed these beauty's and I am SO happy I did.
The lipliner is a gorgeous plum toned liner and its a great dupe for the MAC liners Whirl and Soar (almost a shade in between).
The lipstick matches PERFECTLY - its a combo you HAVE to try if you're like me and have a weak spot for mauve's!
Thats it for today beauty's. Hope you enjoyed the blog! :)
Lots of love,
Nouveau Beauty xo
