Blemishes be gone!

I'm back with another post about a product that has AMAZED ME. 

We all have different skin types and all desire to have that Vogue front cover clear skin. Sadly, we all get the odd spots and blemishes (usually, the night before an important day - ergh!) but, what helps the blemishes fade?

Well, I was on the hunt for something. I have tried the La Roche Posay - Effaclar '3-step" Anti-Blemish System - and although, it has certainly helped balance the oil on my face and prevents breakouts it hasn't been something that has the "wow factor". 

I was out shopping, and popped into the Body Shop to repurchase some of my favourites. But this time I went the the tea tree section as my breakouts were really starting to get to me. I came across the Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion and picked it up. I hadn't read any reviews, or even heard of anyone talk about it - but, I thought why not give it a chance?

I have only had this lotion for about a week, and I NEVER write review's until I have used products continually for at least 2 weeks, but this is BEYOND AMAZING. I have these blemishes on my forehead and chin which have been such a pain and the scars just didn't seem to budge. So, the night I got this lotion, I decided to try it out and apply it onto my face as per the instructions on the bottle. The next morning I woke up and noticed a dramatic difference to the scars, they had actually FADED. I was in utter shock as I wasn't actually expecting it to have that much of an effect, let-alone overnight. I have been using it religiously for the last few days and I am so happy that the blemishes have almost gone!!! I don't even need to apply concealer on these areas now as a lightweight coverage foundation does the job.  

The lotion is in a green coloured pump bottle - super convenient! The consistency is that of a light lotion that seamlessly sinks into your skin and doesn't leave any greasy after effect. It has a slightly strong scent of Tea Tree (duh). But, its not too overwhelming. 

With this product a little goes a long way. So far, it has helped me in controlling the oiliness and breakouts on my skin and has majorly lightened the blemishes on my face. I would highly recommend this product to people with oily skin and blemishes to give this a go - its definitely going to be my new holy grail night lotion!
