Holy Grail - Haircare Products!

Hey beauty's,

Hope you're all doing well! :) I thought I would switch up the bblog a little and add some basic haircare in.

Although I'm not that into haircare as I am with makeup, I still have some holy grail products that I have been using for years (& some recent purchases) that I thought I would share with you all! :)

Here we go...

1. L'Oreal Paris - Hot & Big Heat Protectant (Volume Boosting & Root Lifting Spray)

To begin with we have the L'Oreal Paris - Hot & Big Heat Protectant Spray - this is a rather "recent" purchase but I have been using it for atleast 4-5 months now and have been loving it. When I saw that L'Oreal had released a Studio Line & had an offer on the range, I just HAD to try it out. This spray is a root-boosting amplifying spray which is to be used with a blow-dyer in order to get that "bouncy, satin finished looking hair".

For those that are looking for a little more volume after blow-drying your hair, spray this onto your roots liberally, blow-dry your hair upside down and you will see the difference! :)

Its super reasonably priced, and retails for £3.79 at Boots (who currently have an offer on their Studio Line - so go grab it while you can!!)

2. L'Oreal Paris - Hot & Go Heat Protectant (Fast Blow-Dry Spray)

This is the second product I got from the L'Oreal studio line range and I have to say I LOVE IT! I cannot tell you how amazing this fast blow-dry spray actually is. I'm someone who is SUPER IMPATIENT when it comes to blow-drying my hair, and I can never be bothered to sit there for ages making sure each bit of my hair is dry, ever since I have discovered this spray - it has made drying my hair so much easier.

L'Oreal have come up with this innovative formula which speeds up the time it takes to dry your hair (and if you're always in a rush or decide to wash your hair the morning before work and don't have the time to blow dry your hair properly - then this is THE PRODUCT for you).

The product also controls the frizz in my hair and prevents flyaways which is of course a bonus.

This spray has literally taken off at least 5-8minutes off of my morning routine when it comes to my hair.

This is also super reasonably priced, and retails for £3.79 at Boots.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

3. L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin - Hairspray ( Extra Strength, Enhanced Radiance Spray)

Okay, yes here is another L'Oreal product. It is one of my favourite hairsprays to date. This Elnett Hairspray has been made especially for coloured hair, it adds that satin touch which adapts to the needs of coloured hair, i.e. mine.

It basically does the job when it comes to holding my hair in place, whether its curls or just ensuring there are no flyaways.

The best thing about this hairspray is that is has a micro-diffuser which means you can brush out the hairspray without having that horrible, hard, sticky and unloved hair feeling the next day. What's more, it also protects your hair (if its like mine and becomes frizzy throughout the day) against humidity so its great to take on holiday or simply to prevent any frizz.

This retails for £6.70 at Boots :)

4. Aussie - Miracle Recharge (Conditioning Spray)

The next product we have is from Aussie - the Miracle Recharge lightweight conditioning spray. For the days I'm not going to style my hair, but want that voluminous, natural finish whilst protecting my hair at the same time - I spray this into my damp hair and let it naturally do its job. Once you blow-dry your hair it leaves your hair feeling textured and silkier than usual.

Furthermore, this leave in conditioner has Sea Kelp extract which really gives you volume at the roots if sprayed directly there. The Wild Cherry Bark really boosts the vibrancy of coloured hair (i.e. mine) and makes your hair feel like it has a lot more moisture - due to the Australian Macadamia Nut Oil.

I really do feel as though this spray has also made my hair become less greasy than usual. Try it out! :)

This retails for £4.69 at Boots :)

5. Umberto Giannini - Frizz Off (Blow Dry Cream)

So, I thought I would save the BEST TILL LAST. I have been using this cream for years and have repurchased this cream at least 6-7 times. Umberto Giannini has come up with this amazing forumlation which tames "coarse and unruly hair".

It is a thick moisturising cream that you apply to damp hair to eliminate frizz. I apply it to my roots all the way though to the middle of my hair and the ends to add texture and to really help tame my hair before I blow-dry it.

I would highly recommend this if your hair is quite hard to style, i.e. straighten or curl as it really helps set your hair due to the thickness of the cream which means, when it comes to styling your hair, its ready to go.

I LOVE this and highly recommend it to my fellow frizzy hair friends! :)

This retails for £6.00 at Boots :)

Here's a little snap of my hair on the morning I used the L'Oreal Paris - Hot & Go Heat Protectant (Fast Blow-Dry Spray),  the Umberto Giannini - Frizz Off (Blow Dry Cream) and the Aussie - Miracle Recharge (Conditioning Spray) - as you can see, I still have that voluminous finish but its straightened quite well and has a satin finish due to the products used! :)

Hope this helped! What products can your hair not live without, any recommendations? :)

Lots of love,

Nouveau Beauty xo
