Smashbox - Full Exposure (Travel Size) Review!!

Hope you're all well and enjoying the lovely British weather, which basically means its time to put the shorts away and bring the A/W wardrobe out. I have to say, when it comes to makeup I do love switching up my looks from summer through to Autumn/Winter so I guess I can't complain. 

Anyways, here we have a short review on a palette you can use all year round. Love warm neutrals, both matte and shimmer? Then have a read of this and see what you think! :)

Sooo, for my Birthday my sister kindly got me loads and loads of makeup (she obviously knows me by now and my love for anything beauty related) and this palette was one of the many items I received. I had been lusting over the Smashbox - Full exposure palette for AGES but always held back as I have SO many neutrals. However, the fact that she got me the travel size palette made it so much better and I LOVE it. 

So as you can see below, the palette itself is literally the size of a credit card which makes it super easy to travel with (hence why its the travel size palette, duhh). I wanted a palette I could chuck in my makeup bag, which didn't take up to much space, so thats another bonus. 

As for the colours, pigmentation, lasting power etc. Here's the details:

As you can see above, the palette consists of 4 matte shades and 4 shimmer shades - what more could you want? 

Matte swatches (below): L - R:

• Ashy Dark Brown
• Creamy Beige
• Soft Midtone Tan
• Warm Chocolate Brown 

Shimmer swatches (below): L - R:

• Midtone Slate with Silver Pearl
• Light Tan with Gold & Silver Pearl
• Soft Gold with Gold & Silver Pearl
• Chocolate Brown with Golden Pearl

As you can see, the entire palette is extremely pigmented (bearing in mind this is with 1-2 swipes and no primer) - its incredibly versatile and wearable during day and night. The shades are also crease resistant, long wearing, velvety smooth and super easy to blend together. 

Here's a little snippet of a quick look I created on my sister using just this palette - it literally takes 3-4 minutes to create a soft, effortless warm neutral eye! In this look I used:

• Matte Warm Chocolate Brown - as the crease/transition shade;
• Soft Gold with Gold & Silver Pearl - all over the base; and
• Midtone Slate with Silver Pearl & Chocolate Brown with Golden Pearl - mixed together in the outer V.
